My Little Girl is Growing Up too fast!!

Avery, my daughter who will be 4 months old April 7, was born with Pulmonary Stenosis. A week after her birth, she had a procedure to open up the valve that wasn't opening properly. Ever since then, everything has been pretty normal. She acts like a normal child, and we were told she probably would all of her life. Avery also has some digestion problems. (We go see a specialist at the end of April) She spits up quite frequently and a lot... more than usual babies. Ever since she was born, I have begged doctors (I say doctor(s) because we have gone through so many to find one we like) to put her on acid reflux medicine. FINALLY, one listens. In a few days she will start some medication.

So, long story short, my daughter sleeps in her playpin in our room due to our fear of her heart and/or spitting up.This morning, Avery woke us up like usual: "talking" in her little baby language. I put her in bed with me & after her morning "baba" she was just lounging next to me watching TV. Eventually, she scooted down into a laying-down position & out of no where rolled over all by herself! She has been attempting this for the past couple of days, but today... She did it!

I am going to try my hardest to post the video on here... (My computer choses days to work & then there are days I consider tossing it out the window) If not, you can view it on my facebook. But that was my exciting morning, watching my baby girl complete yet another milestone of her life. Hope you get to see it too :)

Our First Night Out

So, this is my first blog. Bare with me considering I had a very long night last night :)

My husband's brother & his fiance got married yesterday so we all decided to go out to Billy Bob's and see Josh Turner!! [OMG!! I know, right?!] So, we go out to dinner with the family & at this point, we aren't trying to hurry by any means... Josh Turner didn't start until 10:30, we have time, right? Wrong.

We fiddle around until about 8:30 & decide it might be time to head that way. We score some sweet parking in a pawn shop parking lot. [Hey, it's legit, we paid & got a ticket... So don't think our cars got stolen or something ha ha] We run across traffic in a frenzy to get inside as fast as possible. We get to the door and there is a long line just to get in and pick up our tickets. [Good thing we got some in advance because people were outside BEGGING to buy tickets from people... It had completely reached its max]

We get in and have an hour & a half to "chill" before our man gets on stage so we decide to go up to our first bar. [My husband's and mine... Not his brother & sister-in-law's] I didn't even know what to order, so I just copied my sister-in-law. And out of all honesty, I cannot remember the name of the drink... Something Sunrise LOL. Anyways, it was good.

So we head off to find a seat. YEAHHHH RIGHT! There was absolutely no seats available in the entire bar. There was not even an inch of rail left to stand by. Great, what a perfect time to be short, right?! So we just kind of walk around & talk.

By the time Josh Turner got on stage, there were more people shoved in that place than I could imagine. We felt like sardines squished in a tiny can. And this is not pleasant by any means. You know those type of girls that have this odd need to dress like strippers? Well, there were a lot of those girls & being squished next to them in our sardine can was indredibly uncomfortable.

Josh started singing in that pretty little voice and we made our way as close as we could possibly get [without getting my feet stepped on, I had just gotten some cute new sandals]. I sang my little heart out and made sure Josh knew that I knew he was singing to me :)

Despite being so tired I can barely think, I had a blast & hope to do it again sometime. Except next time, we will buy the reserved seats & not have to stand & wiggle our way through people. And, I'd get to see my man a little closer ;)
